Jimmy Kimmel addressed his tiff with Kanye West and even read some of the rapper's tweets during his monologue Thursday evening on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
As was referenced in the Twitter feud, Kanye did pick up the phone, call Jimmy, and offer him only one option in order to right his wrongs. "'Your life is going to be much better if you apologize,'" Jimmy claims Kanye said before comparing himself at length to "Pac," referring to Tupac Shakur.
"He told me on the phone — and I swear to god this is true — he said, 'I am the most powerful voice in media. I am 'Pac,'" Jimmy recalled. "He said, 'You'll never be able to show yourself at a 14-year-old’s high school football game and be cool again.' ... That’s right out of the Tupac playbook, isn’t it?"
